Unfortunately we can’t change everybody’s behavior but we can change our own. For me it was switching to conscious consumption. I know consumerism itself is a threat to the planet but more of us need to work together and hopefully we will outnumber those who don’t care and make conscious choices.
I agree. As a parent you’re barely hanging in there so thinking about sustainable options doesn’t even factor in most of the time. We did really well in our apartment with almost no non-recyclables then the children came into our lives and we found ourselves buying so many things that we ended up throwing away because they couldn’t be reused. Finding the safe and reusable products was a pain.

YES! It can be hard sometimes. I get really annoyed that I’m trying so much for a better planet and other people just don’t care 😡

Sustainability in an urban setting is the worst.
It’s harder with kids but I think it also depends on where you live. I try not to make my family overly miserable or neurotic about the whole thing.
